Pinot Noir from one of the winery's original blocks, planted by the founders in the 1970s and then replanted in 2006 and 2009. This is a wine built for the future that offers peaks of elegance in the present—aromas of dried violets, dried mint and red raspberry. The palate is lithe and energetic with flavours of early-season brambleberry fruits underlaid by black tea, cranberry and savoury notes. There is ample structure here. This is a wine built for a decade from now, and cellaring it will offer those with patience a bigger payoff.
