The 22 Amphora Mourvèdre is 75% mourvèdre (with 35% whole cluster) and 25% grenache(with 30% whole cluster). Fermented in new XL sized amphorae from the biodynamically farmed vineyards. This wine has lots of feral pungent aromas of wild herbs, and spices and a good whack of mountain berries. The red and blue berry fruits mark the front palate and are followed quickly by white and black pepper, dried thyme and wild anise. Fresh, fruity and savoury with bright acidity to finish.
