This edgy, freshly styled Syrah, only 12.6% abv, is comprised of half the estate's old vines, which are Tablas Clone, and half younger vines, a combination of clone 174 and the Phelps clone. The aromatics are fresh and floral, as violets and lilac leap from the glass. The palate shows high-toned black fruits, tart early-season blackberries, and freshly muddled mint leaves framed by a streak of ocean salinity.
