A Côte-Rôtie like Syrah that opens with pencil shavings, graphite, and minerality, with a touch of raspberry. The palate layers dark-chocolate–dipped blueberries, plums, and black currants with deep coffee-grind and dark-chocolate tones. A savoury thread of dried meats runs underneath. Tannins are firm and assertive now but promise resolution with time. Linear, taut, and beautifully fresh.
