An inky purple in the glass, this Syrah is a blend of all six Syrah clones planted at the Caliza Estate Vineyard. Meatiness, including dried salami, dominates the nose and gives dark, black fruits a baked character. The palate is rich and dark, with a boysenberry pie character and bitter dark chocolate on the back palate. Smoked brisket or balsamic grilled portobello mushrooms to pair.
