Made from own-rooted Chenin Blanc vines planted in 1972, this wine is aged 12 months in a concrete tulip with no oak influence. The nose offers aromas of bruised yellow apples, pears, mandarin orange, and wet stone. The palate is dense and textured, yet with striking acidity and Anjou pear, honey, and chamomile flavours. The depth of fruit concentration, harmonious structural elements, and a long, graceful finish make this an exceptional expression of old-vine Chenin. It is built to be enjoyed with food.
