Aged sur lie for 20 months, this is a delicious bottling of Texas Chardonnay with classic cool climate (somehow) Chardonnay aromas of lemon oil, honeyed ginger and sweet ripe apricot. The palate is fleshy with grilled peach flavours, savoury herbs, white pepper and a touch of brioche. The oak character is tastefully integrated with hints of Madagascar vanilla bean, beeswax and yellow flower pollen—an impressive wine from Tallent Vineyard in the Texas Hill Country.
