Plenty of savoury herbs mark this wine, styled after a Left Bank Bordeaux, but it has a wonderful depth of fruit to balance the peppery, stony notes supported by dark plums and blackberry compote aromas. The palate balances ripe fruits with savoury desert scrub, pencil lead, roasted hatch pepper and wonderful acidity that lifts the finish.
