There are plenty of sweet oak aromatics from this Tempranillo from the Lake Chelan AVA, but there is ample bright fruit to go along with those notes of sasparilla, rootbeer barrel and spicy black plums. The palate is smoky, with notes of clove, juniper and a touch of white pepper. There is a core of black fruit enveloped in oaky Christmas spice.
