This Horse Heaven Hills Cabernet leads off with enthralling herbaceous aromatics. Fantastic notes of hatch pepper, dried garrigue, purple floras and fennel finished off with a touch of eucalyptus. The palate retains a generous elegance. Well balanced, a core of black fruits, plums and cherries drives the wine into a savoury minerality. Soy-draped umami flavours are given over to crushed basalt.
