This Syrah is co-fermented with a touch of Viognier, utterly delicious and mainly from the estate Lefore Vineyard. A melange of aromas run from smoked sesame seed oil to crushed violets, forest floor to warm smashed blackberries, smoke and iron. The palate balances the savoury mix of soy, balsamic and turned earth with ample red and black berry fruits, tart notes of blood orange and a finish decorated with white pepper and pencil lead.
