A natural wine made with a blend of Grenache and Tempranillo made with lesser parts Syrah. Evocative of Beaujolais with great mineral freshness, tart blood orange and a feral herbal quality. The palate is sleek and bright with boysenberry, wild mountain fruits and alpine meadow herbs. There is great clarity and purity of fruit across the palate, with feral notes of blue mountain fruits, desert scrub and dried lavender. This project by Gård winemaker Matias Kúsulas produces high-level naturally made wines from Eastern Washington, a rarity there.
