Syrah was sourced from three sites: the Red Mountain estate site Blackwood Canyon and the Yakima Valley vineyard Blackrock. This is a lushly black-fruited Syrah, with aromatics of dried black figs, spicy violet tones and dashes of white pepper. The crushed black stone minerality is a Red Mountain signature in this wine; it frames the ripe dark fruits, as black cherry flesh, mocha powder, and hints of espresso bean keep things dark and brooding.
