This regal Cabernet Sauvignon led blend spends 20 months in almost 100% new French oak, with 96% of the fruit coming from the Ciel du Cheval and Klipsun Red Mountain sites and 4% from the renowned Dubrul Vineyard in the more significant Yakima Valley appellation. The aromatics show a red-fruited intensity, with rampant floral notes, desert sage and a lavish mineral lift. The palate suggests a savoury framing but an intense opulence to the ripe blue and black fruits. Carry through with such refined tannin and a wonderfully long finish that offers a hint of red berry at the finish. The polish is dazzling.
