When Delille first came up with this wine, the idea was an elevation of their famed D2, with fruit from some of the most choice Red Mountain vineyards like Grand Ciel, Upchurch, Klipsun and Ciel du Cheval. 100% Red Mountain Cabernet. It's inky and dark; this wine delivers quintessential Red Mountain aromatics, with dark fruits, violets, and the classic basalt note from Red Mountain. The palate shows dark fruits, dessert scrub and exotic tea leaves.
