An elegant Syrah that carries the weight of the iconic Delille estate site, Grand Ciel from Red Mountain. Aromatically upright with rich violets, wild desert scrub and dried lavender, there is a feral tone here, something wild and a touch on the gamy side as well. The palate offers density without sacrificing complexity. Blackberries and mint leaf, graphite and crushed stone alongside notes of cool notes of blue fruits and dried thyme to finish.
