This bright, mouthfilling wine opens with pristine blackberry and plum flavours filigreed with eucalyptus and flint. It's pure-fruited but peppery, with a lifted, salty perfume that's unadulterated by new oak. The finish is polished, marked by hints of anise and burnt sugar. It's made with 15% whole clusters cofermented in concrete with 1% Viognier. Matured 18 months in neutral, large-format French oak.
