100% Chardonnay sourced from old vines on Celilo vineyard in the Columbia Gorge appellation. Winemaker Kasey Davenport especially likes Kinhaven's block there, planted in 1979 and 'known for its acidity, which is one of the reasons we like it for both our sparkling and still Chardonnay programs', she says. Pale lemon with zesty bubbles and green apple, flint, and baguette on the nose. 20 months on lees lends subtle autolytic character, offering a light, creamy mouthfeel. Crisp, dominant notes of bright citrus, lemon meringue, and apricot on the palate.
