Kiona has been making a Chenin Blanc since 1980, in many ways pioneering the grape in eastern Washington. It's a blend of fruit from their Red Mountain estates and further afield in the Yakima Valley. The fresh and fruity Chenin is blended with just a bit of Roussanne and Marsanne, more typical Red Mountain white varieties for a pleasing palate of fleshy fresh stone fruit, sweet floral aromatics, and a finish with just a touch of honey and cardamom.
