There's a thrilling bite to this piercing yet spry, fresh-fruited 'white label' bottling known as the Sans Soufre Syrah. 100% whole clusters were pressed individually in the barrel, vinified with indigenous yeasts and the wine matured in neutral French oak puncheons for 10 months with no SO2 added at any point. It's a minimalist expression of a place better known for muscularity and brawn, packed with juicy raspberry and red cherry flavours, but darting and lean, too. A delightfully nervy, textured wine framed in soft, easing tannins.
