Dark and inky, this Syrah with 4% Viognier co-ferment shows a balance of refinement with an undeniable feral streak. Meaty on the nose with tones of charred game, dried herbs and opulent ripe black plums. The palate carries the savoury to the fore, with desert sage and wild lavender framing black fruits and a definitive umami depth of soy and smoke.
