There’s great freshness in this Claret, with the Malbec coming from Scarline, where the Lawrence Estate has great farming, and as a result, great intensity. Dusty tannins and blackberries on the forepalate; there’s heft and density here, with ample tannin and longevity. Aromas of savoury eucalyptus, along with black plum and dried herbs. The palate is showy, with garrigue, alongside the complexity framed by smoked sea salt, and black plum skin.
