A celebratory wine made for the team at Upsidedown Wine, Seth and Audrey's daughter a barrel selected GSM with a dash of Viognier. A Most of the Grenache comes from French Creek Vineyard, as well as Weather Eye's Block 15 and Equus Vineyard Syrah. Kitzke used plenty of whole cluster fermentation used to coax savouriness and build the structure. The 2021 vintage produced a lot of ripeness, so the goal is to create opulence and richness along with the 60% new oak. Aromas of ripe red and blue berries, sweet spices and smoky hints of clove. The palate is rich with spiced black plums, dried dessert sage, crushed black stone minerals and a rich driven Christmas spice buoyed by lots of whole berry this wine delivers richness, and ripe fruit.
