This wine hails from a number of Yakima Valley's top sites, including Red Willow, Dubrul Vineyard, Boushey and the Delille estate site, Harrison Hill. With aromas of spiced plum, blue violets and clove, this Merlot shines with genuine elegance. A palate chock full of blueberry fruits and Christmas spice, the 70% new oak certainly shows itself but melds wonderfully with notes of savoury herb, anise, and wild fennel.
