From the esteemed Yakima Valley grower Dick Boushey’s vines, this varietal wine was aged in very old upright oak tanks and shows pretty, tart redcurrant on the nose, with herbal notes of mint, white pepper and clove. Acid-driven and fresh tasting, it presents still-ripening red fruits of raspberry cranberry, and plum on the palate, with grippy tannins stitching things together. With the right storage conditions, this wine will start to hit its stride in five or more years.
