From Konnowac Vineyards, which sits in a bowl trapping the cold air, runs off of Elephant Mountain in Northern Yakima Valley at nearly 400m. The Marsanne and Roussanne are co-fermented; this is an aromatically honeyed wine with real richness.— It has notes of beeswax, lemon pastry cream, and honeysuckle pollen. Aromatics show place better than concentration in the opinion of winemaker Seth Kitzke. Textured and fleshy, as you'd expect from the varieties. The palate offers intense ripe peach, lemon curd, savoury lemon oil and a serious concentration of honey throughout. Finishes fresh to balance the rich fruits.
