A beautifully crafted, medium-bodied field blend from the Red Mountain's Tremasi Vineyard. Winemaker Seth Kitzke picks the Grenache, Syrah, with smaller portions of Mourvedre, Counoise, Cinsault, Marsanne, and Roussanne all together and sorts them one cluster at a time into an open-top fermenter. A light foot treading for the 100% whole cluster fruit spends 20 months on lees. It's a wine of undeniable elegance from Red Mountain, with ripe strawberries and dried rose petal aromas followed by a hot ember minerality. The palate is fresh, blood orange, a melange of savoury herbs, dried lavender and white peppercorn. An Old World elegance meets Red Mountain.
