This Sangiovese with 11% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Cut Bank Estate is wonderfully crafted in a Super Tuscan style from vines planted in 2008 in Walla Walla's Mill Creek Valley. This wine spends two and a half years in neutral French puncheons: bright red berries, rosehip oil and smoky notes of blood orange. The palate shows a refreshing brightness of red berries. There's a nice piquant spice and smoky citrus tone with ample structure and great drinkability.
