Warm, resonant, lifted, generously fragrant; the oak is evident, but it’s classy stuff and it tapers beautifully with the refined liquorice tinged fruits. Poised, pure, long, curranty, intense: quite a forceful Pinot, but stylistically impeccable. Long, spicy aftertaste. Lovely poised ripeness here; this would just be terrific drinking, and you could put it in any Pinot context world-wide and it would show terrifically well. Bravo.
