Better known for its Sauvignons and Pinots, Leyda also makes this accomplished Riesling, illustrating the potential of the variety in Chile in the right sites. 'Neblina' – meaning fog in Spanish – is the name of the cool coastal vineyard, just 4km from the Pacific, that produces this bone-dry, mineral wine with rapier-like acidity. Classic petrol character, joined by aromas of lime zest and tightly woven layers of citrus, custard apple, honey and grapefruit pith on the juicy palate.
