This forward-drinking, Merlot-based claret is made from vineyards in the Entre-deux-Mers region by the Forcato family, who has owned the vineyards since the 1950s. They've produced a dark and rich style of Bordeaux here, bold and modern in style with blackcurrant fruit, plum, some cocoa notes and a toasty oak influence. A very decent mouthful for the price.
