We're on Bordeaux's Right Bank here, in the value hunting ground of the St-Emilion satellites. This organically produced blend of 85% Merlot with 15% Cabernet Franc is fermented in stainless steel and aged for 12-18 months in a mix of stainless steel and oak. It's decent everyday-drinking claret, open and aromatic, with dark berry fruit, fine tannins and a touch of spice. Mix six price: £17
