What a treat! This is made by one of the first houses to have produced a blended rosé, as early as 1833. Their experience shows in this delicious rosé Champagne, a blend of 53% Pinot Noir, 32% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Meunier, 30-40% reserve wines, aged for a minimum of three years on lees, with a further six months post-disgorgement. Pretty salmon pink in colour, and with a fragrance of sugared raspberries, it's fresh, supple and youthful in style but with a good depth of juicy red berry fruit, and a good length. Extremely moreish. The Lanson Le Vintage 2009 (non-rosé) is also delicious.
