A good-value offering from a consistently reliable producer at the value end. This single-vineyard Viognier was made from grapes grown in clay and chalk soils on hilly slopes. There's a gold tinge to the wine, which shows a lovely depth of flavour. Ripe peach stone fruit, a lovely purity and freshness, and a satisfying textural, fairly weighty mouthfeel.
