This is a Majestic Special Buy, so may not be around for long. Made organically, t's a fruit cocktail of a blend, 40% Chardonnay and 30% Grenache Blanc, with Viognier, Muscat, Clairette, Marsanne and Mauzac also making an appearance. Some orange wines can be quite shouty, but here there's some subtlety at play here. The light amber colour in the glass is a clue, and then alongside the tangerine, orange blossom, marmaladey flavours there's also an attractive herbiness, and a tannic grip from the skin contact. Give it a try with a delicately spiced curry. Mix six price £16.50.
