Pale gold in colour, with scents of lemon verbena and forest moss. On the palate it's a much juicier and mellower wine than its Apremont and Abymes counterparts, though unlike the Chignin Bergeron (Roussanne) wines there is no honeyed note. It turns sappy and fresh towards the finish, with a quietly leafy greenness; the old vine fruit makes for a long finish.
