From a two-hectare organically cultivated, elevated vineyard at 350m near Braga, this yellow/gold naturally fermented Avesso with no added sulphites is bone dry. With rapier-like acidity, there is a spareness, yet intensity to its green tomato and tart greengage fruit, with tangy sorrel and ironstone minerality. Bracing lemon-sucking bite to the finish will appeal to some and alienate others.
