A lifted nose of pink grapefruit, cranberry and pomegranate gives way to a fleshy palate with a pleasant zesty grip. The fruit core has a sweetness that is offset by a bitter, Campari-like twist. Fruit for this pink Padeiro, one of Vinho Verde’s lesser-known red varieties, is sourced from the forest-lined Outeiro vineyard on the Raza estate. Free-run juice is naturally fermented and undergoes short ageing on fine lees in tank.
