Pleasingly aromatic, with greengage and gooseberry, on the green fruit side. The palate is zesty, lip-smacking and mouth-puckering, with a very fine fizz, almost not there, in fact this wine was carbonated to only 3.5 bars of pressure, which is very subtle when you consider that Champagne has 6 bars of pressure. If you're a Vinho Verde fan already, this will really float your boat, as it has that characteristic pear, gooseberry and citrus zip and a tiny hint of salty rocks on the finish. It's just off-dry, so has a decent roundness too.
