This wine from the cooler 2023 vintage comes mainly from the West Hill site of the Navarro Vineyards in the Deep End of Anderson Valley. It hints at the opulence after seven months sur lie in French oak ovals. Wild aromas of clover honey, beeswax and ginger lead to a palate of ripe stone fruits, cardamom and wild herbs. Navarro Vineyards is one of the pioneering operations in the Anderson Valley. While they planted Pinot Noir, they got their start and built their name on Alsatian varieties, and Gewürtztraminer was foremost among them.
