Bages is a rather desolate hamlet at the southern end of Paulillac, but in recent years it has been transformed thanks to the energy and enterprise of local boy Jean-Michel Cazes, owner of Ch Lynch-Bages. First he founded a wonderful bakery, and then this chic but informal brasserie for versatile lunches and dinners.
