The Wine Gallery is located in Beijing Sanlitun’s Village North, and consists of three floors of training rooms, storage facilities, meeting and function rooms.

It will also provide wine courses for private and large corporate gatherings

‘The outlet allows top wine connoisseurs and private collectors to gather, it serves as a center for wine culture and educational events, and it showcases ASC’s trade service abilities for its traditional trade customers,’ ASC said in a press release.

ASC Fine Wines was founded in 1996, and represents more than 100 brands including Bollinger, Gaja, Beringer, E Guigal and Robert Skalli - and DBR (Lafite), which it took on at the beginning of this year (2011).

The company has more than 800 staff and 12 regional offices.

ASC CEO Don St Pierre Jr was ranked 16th in the 2009 Decanter Power List of the wine world’s most influential figures.

In December 2009 Japan’s Suntory group bought a 70% stake in the company for an undisclosed sum.
