Peter Ranscombe is a freelance journalist, author and blogger, based in Edinburgh, Scotland. He writes the wine column and drinks blog for Scottish Field magazine, as well as the features for Press & Journal newspaper’s monthly business supplement. Aside from Decanter, he contributes to BQ Magazine, The Times and Whisky Quarterly. In 2015 he earned a level 4 diploma from the Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET).
