Since the earliest days, Trapiche has stood tall in the wine world, making Argentine wine shine as an international flagship in more than 80 countries.

Trapiche: Argentina’s most admired wine brand

According to Drinks International magazine, Trapiche is Argentina’s most admired wine brand.

Since March 2011, the prestigious English publication Drinks International publishes a special Supplement named The World’s Most Admired Wine Brands.

In 2014, Trapiche was honored to be included in this supplement holding the #31 position in the Top 50. Trapiche become though the best ever ranked Argentine winery since the creation of World’s Most Admired Wine Brands.

It should be noted that Trapiche is the only Argentine winery in the Top 50 this year.

Trapiche Terroir Series Malbec

One of the winery’s most exciting and renowned projects, the Terroir Series creates the perfect equation of the best that Argentina has to offer: the country’s top producer + its darling grape + the best single vineyards in Mendoza.

The Trapiche terroir series project, with its single vineyard wines, aims to convey the extraordinary potential of the vast array of argentina’s terroirs and their imprint on our flagship grape, malbec.

Every year, Trapiche´s chief winemaker, Daniel Pi, and his team, select the three best malbec wines from exceptional vineyards to illustrate the diversity of our terroirs. This project also represents Trapiche´s tribute to grapegrowers, who deliver their premium grapes and give identity to the wines.

Trapiche Costa & Pampa
We’d like to share a new discovery with the world. A treasury hidden between the Argentine sea and the pampas.

Trapiche

An emerging facet of Argentina’s winemaking that challenges the status quo and calls for new experiences. The first range of ocean-climate wines to hail from Argentina.

The unique climate of the coast, the grandeur of the South Atlantic, the magic of our lands and Trapiche’s visionary talent  have come together to offer a particularly special wine to the world.
Unlike those grown in mountainous areas, these vineyards, which are planted at sea level and 6 km away from the coast, are under more humid and cooler weather conditions, which are ideal for short-cycle varieties.

The moderate maximum daytime temperatures and cold nights allow for a lower heat accumulation throughout the vegetative cycle of the vines, which results in fresh, delicate wines with great aromatic complexity and good volume. A wine which taste reveals both the generous nature of our land and the crispness of our sea, blending in perfect harmony to captivate the most demanding palates and adventure seekers.
