The 42nd Wine Assessment Vino Slovenija Gornja Radgona, the most influential verification of wine quality in Slovenia, has given the wine world 12 new champions - and also one journalist champion in the wine variety Sauvignon Blanc, vintage 2015 with sugar content up to 25g/L...
As a big introduction to the events of the 54th International Agricultural-Food Fair AGRA, which will be held in Gornja Radgona, Slovenia from 20th to 25th August, the end of July saw the 42nd Assessment of Vino Slovenija Gornja Radgona and the 6th evaluation of wines from organically produced grapes.
The wines were evaluated by four commissions of renowned Slovenian oenologists with guests from abroad. 175 wine producers competed in the quality of their wines in both evaluations, with a total of 493 samples of wines from five countries: Slovenia, Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic and Macedonia.

Winemaker of the year will be announced on 23.08.2016, on the Day of Winegrowers and Winemakers, at the Vino Slovenija Gornja Radgona presentation of awards at the 54. International Agriculture – Food Fair AGRA.
