decanter.com goes live for Bordeaux 2009

decanter.com now has a live forum for comments on Bordeaux 2009 – with minute-by-minute price coverage.

The Bordeaux 2009 en primeur campaign is turning out to be the most dynamic for many years.

Now, using a system called CoveritLive.com, you can log on to decanter.com and share your opinions with Bordeaux lovers – and agnostics – around the world.

All five first growths have now released their prices. With a few big names yet to release: Angelus, Ausone, Cheval Blanc, d’Yquem, Leoville Las Cases, Petrus, Vieux Chateau Certan for example, decanter.com will be covering the prices the moment they leave the chateaux.

We will be using the same technology to broadcast a live tasting of Dom Perignon on 12 July, with head winemaker Richard Geoffroy. See decanter.com for details.

We will also be reporting live from the Masters of Wine Symposium in Bordeaux from 24-27 June, at which a series of eminent wine professionals such as Jeannie Cho Lee MW, Paul Draper of Ridge, and Jancis Robinson MW will be giving seminars.
