Ndidi Ekubia, Will Odell and Brian Williamson

Tthe three silversmiths offering gifts for our Christmas competition are

NDIDI EKUBIA

Ndidi graduated with an MA in Silversmithing from the Royal College of Art in 1998 and after several prestigious residences set up her own silversmithing business. Her reputation and profile have developed rapidly over the years and she is regarded as one of the country’s preeminent silversmiths with a loyal following of collectors. Inspiration for her work stems from the patterns of everyday life: from the cityscape of London through to organic natural forms. She uses traditional silversmithing techniques that require the beating of sheet silver over steel and wooden forms. In doing this the metal is pushed to its limits and the result is an organic and vital silver vessel which resonates with Ndidi’s passion and energy.
