Tom Forrest

Tom Forrest was born in Edinburgh and fell in love with wine, especially Pinot Noir, at the age of 18 when he was given a bottle of Nuits-St-Georges by a hotel manager. Following a career in hotel management, he began teaching wine & spirits to hospitality students in 1982 and has been employed since 1999 at Vinopolis, the wine attraction based in London, as its resident wine expert. He has judged at various International wine competitions since 1997 and is the author of The Complete Wine Course published by Carlton Books. Forrest has appeared on TV show This Morning and various local radio stations in London and the South East, including BBC Radio 4’s Today programme and the World Service.
