This 100% Roussette combines herbaceous notes with lots of buttery intensity and minerality. This is a serious wine – very creamy and complex on the palate with a crisp acidity. A perfect match to fondue.
Les Producteurs Plaimont, Saint-Mont, le Fait, Côtes de Saint Mont 2005
In the last few years, This Cave Co-operative has worked hard to put the Cô de Saint Mont appellation on the map. This is their flagship wine and it displays some herbaceous aromas with some oak but well-integrated. Round and creamy on the palate with a good structure and a very long finish.
Domaine Bégude Chardonnay, Limoux 2006
Lots of apple note and citrus with some creamy oak flavours. Well-rounded on the palate, ripe fruit and creamy with good weight. Long finish.

Apricot aromas with some honey. Lively acidity with pure fruit characters. Great balance between the sweetness and the acidity. Good length

Mas Mudigliza, Carmine, Vin de Pays des Côtes Catalanes, 2006
An absolute beauty from one of the lesser-known areas of Languedoc. Chocolatey red fruits sprinkled with white peppers on the nose are followed by further peppery red fruits on the palate. A wine with lovely personality and great structure.
Bonny Doon Sangiovese, California 2007
A nice little exclusive from Randall Graham with healthy doses of lifted, strawberry fruit aromas and very similar flavours on the palate. It’s tasty and youthful.
Pintas Charcater Douro 2005
Very expressive on the nose, ripe fruit with notes of red cherry and spice. Firm tannins on the palate with some creamy oak characters and cherry fruits. A classy and sophisticated wine.
Matetic.EQ, Pinot Noir, San Antonio 2007
A very small production from a rising star. This wine has a beautifully concentrated Pinot laden with summer fruit coulis characteristics and a slight savoury twist. Again this is very young yet still very drinkable
