As Malbec, and particularly Argentinian Malbec, grows in popularity there are more and more questions asked surrounding the grape, its origin and future potential. This Malbec Masterclass seeks to explore all these questions and more.
Hosted by acclaimed wine critic Patricio Tapia and Graffigna wine ambassador Federico Lleonart, a variety of Malbec wines from all over Argentina will be tasted to explore what this spectacular wine country can offer. From Mendoza right up to Salta, covering high and low altitudes, we’ll look to discover how terroir alters varietal character and flavour profile. As well as taking a dive into the history of this beast of a grape, we’ll also look at how glassware influences our taste by closing the Masterclass with a very special Riedel comparative tasting.
The event will take place on Thursday 23rd April, 2015. The Central London address will be announced exclusively to winners of the prize draw. Food will be provided.
